History of Concrete

A New Chapter in Concrete Production

Concrete has been shaping civilization for over 2,000 years, from the Roman Empire’s volcanic-ash masterpieces to the rise of modern cities built on Portland cement and reinforced structures. In the early 1900s came the first batch plants, followed by the ready-mix truck in 1913—transformations that allowed large-scale production and delivery but introduced heavy logistics, material waste, dust, and limited precision. Though the industry later adopted admixtures, PLC controls, and portable batch plants, the core process remained unchanged for more than a century: central batching, drum mixing, and jobsite delivery.

Today, that era ends. The Concreator 2.0 MAX represents the first true leap forward since the 1960s—a fully automated, on-site production system with SmartTel™ Intelligent Controls, closed-loop dust collection, real-time metering, moisture correction, and zero washout or waste. It delivers engineering-grade consistency without drum trucks or traditional batch plants. After centuries of gradual evolution, CementCo Technology is rewriting what concrete production can be.
